Loading the TmpgTemplate.txt file and it freezes and never comes back – Help Please.

I’m a newbie using Tmpg. I’m following Dooms guild on DVD encoding in TMPG. At the point where I go to the GOP structure tab, then check Force picture box and press the Setting button, then press the Load button and select TmpgTemplate.txt that IfoEdit has created for me the program freezes and never comes back (I left it overnight, 8 hours and it’s still frozen). The guide warns that the program will freeze for a couple of minutes. But 8 hours later and no movement? I really would appreciate any help that you veteran user’s could give.

I have the same problem. Have tried almost ALL versions of tmpeg.
All of them crash (not visibly).

I run W2K.

So i was hoping th ReMpeg way would work, but i get no result from that either. (it does not crash, only nothing happens).

I try and I have the same problem too. It seems that TMPG freeze eternally. There's nothing that can help us? Or at least someone have succesfully unlocked TMPG at this point?

I use ReMpeg now. Figured out that the filelist i had to make did not work with rempeg.
So i instead rerip the movie as ONE big file instead.
That works.

Thank you, but I've made a search in the forum, and I found that the problem was in IFOedit, the version 0.9 (which I use) present a bug with the creation of the template file for TMPG. So using 0.88 it works!! TMPG freeze just for an istant, and then it start.
Are you using the 0.9 version of IFOedit too? If it's so, now you know what to do.....
