Whats the best way to encode about 120 small, uncompressed avis (without sound)?

Hi,

I got about 120 small uncompressed avis on my disk (riped from video), each about 1-3 min playtime, no sound. I would like do encode them with divX5 (or another codec if you say thats easier). I guess to do it one by one would be a hell lot of work, so there should be another way %-]].

Which tool would be the best choice? I just want to add them to a list, click the encode button then go sleep and next day everything is done :) (if possible).

It could be an advanced tool as well since I am no beginner, only important thing is that I dont have to encode one by one.

Go for VirtualDub, it has a job list.
Make your encoding settings once, then open file, save file, open file, save file,... and don't forget to cross "add to job list"

I didnt solved my problem, a total computer noob gave me the answer hehe. here we go:

1. press <F4> (Job control)
2. hit the <edit> button
3. hit <process directory...>
4. choose your source directory
5. choose your destination directory

ta-da

thats the way I was looking for, I didnt want to pick every single file as described :) just one directory and thats all.
