Resolution question - need answer

Hi, sorry if this was answer before but:

Is there any advantage making a xvcd at 720x480 instead of 320x240 at the same CBR?

and please, if you can, explain in detail.

1- my standalone player can play this xvcd resultion (720x480)
2- im almost of the time at 2000 cbr

2000 kbps isn't enough for a 720x resolution. Sorry.
