I have read many of the how to's about IFO edit and an trying to make things work. I have spilt to 2 dvds using a couple of methods from IfoEdit - The solution to DVD Copy 1:1
I can never get the dvd player in ifo to play back a movie even on a fresh rip ( I am using smart ripper and DVDDecryptoer). It always tells me that decoder cant handle subtitles and 2 out of 3 streams failed to render. I think I am following the directions in the guide as I have them open and go back to it in each step. I am trying to use Prassi dvd 2.0 to burn but it continues to reject the burn with errors. I have Cyberlink Power dvd 3.0. Is there a way to get it to run the movie as a dvd and not just in file mode. I read here that it is possible with 4.x but found nothing about 3.0
Thanks

I don't think there is a disc mode for ifo files in PowerDVD 3.0. I used to get that same error you're talking about but after a fresh install of Windows it went away and everything works great.
