Hi,

I downloaded this svcd movie and unrared it and got .bin files.
This is the method i used to burn with nero;
- opened the .bin files with daemon tools
- on nero i use cd copy (the daemon tools driver as resource) and burned it

After the cd was finished, i tried it to play the cd both on my standalone dvd player and on my pc. On my dvd player; i got nothin but a peepin sound (the display on dvd player shows; SVCD playing track1)

On my pc i tried opening with;
wmp; I/O error
realone; crashed down everytime i open it
mplayer2; Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported. (Error=80040265)

bsplayer;

I used another method to burn the .bin file;

- opened the .bin using daemon tools and copied the mpeg2(.dat if its vcd) file to the hd
- burned the .mpg file as normal svcd with nero.

and it works great! I hope this will help some1 :D

Was the .bin accompanied by a .cuefile? If not, it is likely that Nero did not write the track included in the .bin in the format required for the svcd. Tracks written in different formats will not be recognized by the DVD-player. Get a .cue from a different movie and edit it; it is only a textfile with a simple structure.

If the .BIN had chapter points your disc will not play correctly. I made the mistake of doing so and I had to turn off PBC on my standalone for it to work. I would recommend using CDRWIN with the .CUE sheet. If you say you don't have it, you seem like the type to be resourceful enough to find movies, you should be able to find CDRWIN ;) .

Also the methods that people suggested in here are also good. I don't know even if you load the .CUE sheet in Nero if it would burn correctly. I can not say for sure. Extract the .MPG and burn with Nero if you don't want or like CDRWIN. Otherwise you'll run into this problem with your downloads.

@Faceman: You have probably used an old version of Nero. The current version 5.5.8.0 has no problems writing .cue-files for chapterized SVCDs. 5.5.7.2 and 5.5.7.8 worked for me as well.

I just never tried, thought it wouldn't work. Thanks alot for confirming it.
