Hi@all


i want to create a avifile with the VFAPI!
Ive tried a d2v and a avs file!
But the VFAPI encoder dont create a avi file!
I daont know what to do???
Im using WinXP Prof.

1) VFAPI is no encoder

2) VFAPI don't make AVI, but fake AVI. It's an information file with the extension AVI

3) you gotta install VFAPI correctly as noticed in the readme, so that others applications can read VFAPI-AVIs

yes sorry!
Its an program to make fake aviīs that are readable for vd!
Ive installed it correctly!
Ive also checked if all dllīs are in the system32 folder!
But I cant make any avi files with the reader it dont creates fake avi files out of d2v or avs frameserve files!

perhaps you could give us some more information?

like what operating system and vfapi version you are running. how you go about creating the d2v file, etc. tell us as much detail as you can, there could be something important you are doing wrong.

OS is WinXP Prof.
Im using DVD2Avi 1.76 to create a d2v file out of a vob on my HDD!
Im trying to make a fake avi file with VFAPI Reader Codec v1.04 BETA!
All dllīs are installed correctly ! Ive checked the system32 folder!
Ive installed the standart codecīs + Divx3,4,5 !
