Anyone try this program at http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/download.html

I like the fact that it takes little CPU power, but was wondering if anyone can get the cropping to work.
(I usually tape letterbox shows)

It doesn't seem to workfor me either : "The request format is NOT supported".
Maybe it's not implanted yet. You can ask the author about that.

i've installed it lately and it's working good, but i think not perfect (capture is fine, but user control can be improved):

1. if your card is recognized, good for u. my card wasn't recognized (fastcom) it, and when trying to manually set the params i didn't get sound. eventually i decided i'll go over the whole cards untill one of them works for me :) fortunately, i stopped in 'b' when 'best buy' card driver worked. i also checked 'tv tuner can do FM' or something similar. my the driver is now working properly.

2. i also got sometimes unsupported format. what capture app are u using?? i used amcap from btwincap download page and vdub 1.9 and 1.7. both worked, although while using vdub (and forced vfw wrapper for wdm) i got slight sync offset in a/v.

if i use yuy2 or rgb32/24, it's usually working for me.
i think that if u use amcap, it sometimes depends on the preview format as well. i set the preview format to yuy2. to test from scratch, u can disable preview from the options menu and see if it captures ok.

3. as far as i saw, enabeling the cropping/resizing in the driver panel, always gave me this unsupported format message. don't know if it's my card or the driver.

4. i couldn't find manual fine tuning of the tv tuner. the auto tune worked more or less ok, or, i sometimes use fly98 (http://asvzzz.narod.ru/) to fine tune my card, then start capturing.

BUT, overall, it has nice set of features, capturing nice and i don't get dropped frames.

so it's usefull if u can handle few quirks.
this opensource project is progressing nicely :)

Cool, these drivers let me capture a video in PAL60 @ 720 x 480, I have not been able to manage this before.
