Hi, i've been using Maestro and i am very happy with it. I ran into a few problems but have been able to straighten most of them out. The one problem i cant straighten out is this: I want to make a DVD with two audio tracks. Im taking a DVD, and using the video source, and im also using the audio source from that same DVD as my first audio track. Those two are fine. Its when i add the second track, which i am taking from a VHS tape. The second track is a dubbed version of the exact same movie. It has the exact same running time as my DVD. But during the movie, the audio track gets totally out of sync. It stars out perfect for the first 30 minutes or so, then keeps declining. Ive been taking my video source and making it a 29.97 drop frame mpv file because i also want subtitles. When i added subtitles to the video file from the DVD, the subtitles would also go out of sync during the movie. I was able to find a fix for that thanks to someone on this board who had posted a way using pulldown.exe. That worked great. So is there any way to edit an existing AC3 file. or a wav file? Which program will do what im trying to do? Basically i guess i need to somehow match up both audio files to the exact same length. Right now there is only 1 second difference between the two.
But the audio gets out of sync by at least 5 seconds or more. The audio actually gets ahead of the video. Both files are the same bitrate, 256 KBs, and they are both 48000 HZ. If anyone can help please post a response, thanks in advance!
