this program has performed an illegal operation!!!

I obtained a "trial" version of CCE SP 2.50 and as soon as I begin encoding (I mean it does'nt even start to encode,the encoding window pops up that's it)I get this program has performed an illegal operation message.I have uninstalled,reinstalled and get the same results.Any ideas?

Typically this comes up when you are trying to encode audio on an Athlon CPU. 2.50 doesn't like AMD cpus when audio encoding is selected. Just deselect audio and it should work.

CCE is very picky about the file types it can take, check some of the other threads in here for more info on solving audio problems with CCE.
