Not new but wasn't sure where this question went. SVCD/VCD to AVI

I have come across a few SVCD and VCD movies that I want to convert to divx avi movie format. Basically because I cannot get these to play in the SVCD or VCD format.

I don't know of a tool that does that.

Any help would be appreciated.
