I'm currently using DVDDecryptor to rip all my DVD's, but I want to do subtitles on some of them. I use VobSub and sometimes it doesn't automatically find the VOB ID's so I have to use Vstrip but DVDDecryptor doesn't have support for .lst files...at least I don't think it does. Can someone tell me a comparable DVD ripping package that can output .lst files for use with VStrip???? I also need this ripper to have IFO parsing capabilities.

why list files for vstrip? just use the gui. and I wouldn't know of any ripper that creates lst files..

I must be confused then....I was using the following link for reference.

www.doom9.org/vobsub.htm

Near the bottom of the page it talks about typing vstrip stream.lst where sream.lst is the streamlist your ripper or you has generated...How can I generate this file??

old guide.. if you used sr(smartripper) or vstrip to rip you can skip that.. and pretty much all my guides make use of SR, especially when you get to use vobsub later on.. only flask (has it's own subtitle engine) and ifoedit (we don't process subs there, certainly not in vobsub) use dvd decrypter which would be a problem if it weren't for what I mentioned above in brackets.
