weird sync prob!!

ive just completed my first 2 rips using Gknot. if i play them right though from the beginning the audio is fine and perfectly sync'd but if i skip a bit or fastforward/rewind the sound sync goes.
p.s. im using divx player2 alpha-i tried it on "the player" and the sound wouldnt play it just kept skipping/repeating.
any ideas??

use different players. "The Playa" doesn't support abr/vbr mp3, and the new DivX Player, while it does ... is also described as an Alpha release. Either use Windows Media Player, or pick any from Doom9's download section.

I was wrong. According to the readme.txt file included with Player 2.0, abr/vbr is still not supported. It may work, as long as you never touch the slider.

If you look at that long list of unresolved problems in the readme.txt, it will drive you to any other avi player.
