problems with 'jay and silent bob strikes back'

I'm having some problems encoding this movie. First attempt was dvd2avi, forced frame, re-encode with robs 2-pass, pulldown, and re-author. Movie starts out fine, but at parts, mainly the end, the video gets choppy, like the frames are flipped or something. Then I tried dvd2avi leaving the video at the 29.97, re-encode, and re-author. same thing. anybody know what's going on and how to get around it? Thanks in advance...

Use Re-Empeg and do a search for my other posts, this problem has been solved about 4 times already... just back read, This also happenes on Full Metal Jacket. I believe 13 ghosts as well. EXTREME blockiness? Yea check my other posts, so a search.
