Software player that strips Macrovision?

Hi all, it's been a long time since the last visit...:-)

I'm trying to send a DVD clip from PC to VCR (via TV-Out on S-Video cable) and to record some short clips, but I can't find a method to remove Macrovision protection on the fly.

I could manage it by stripping the whole DVD to HD, removing Macrovision, then play it with WinDVD, but I can't do it without stripping the movie.

Neither WinDVD nor PowerDVD can do it, also with DVDGenie installed (just couldn't find the option to do it). Eugene's DVD player should do it, but it's not working on my PC (it says I have no Holliwood+ drivers installed????).

Any hints?

I've had luck with Cinemaster specifically in the ATI DVD player 4. I'm using a Radeon card which probably helps, but other cards can work with it too. Check out this link:

The newest version supports Macrovision-Free feature.

That program is a joke.

Not too mention, paying for Macrovision free or region free software is pretty ignorant considering the abundance of FREE solutions out there.

I only know there is NO FREE software that can disable Macrovision without ripping DVDs to HD at first. Would you please tell me where can I download the software?

This program is not a joke for me. I've just spent the better part of 2 months trying every solution on the web to try and play my DVD's without Macrovision.

Guess what? This is the only software that has worked to date:D So if a free solution does exist for a TNT2 M64 card then please point me to the right direction. I'm sure I've already tried everything though;)

While not free either, TVTool costs around $10-$15 I think, strips macrovision and GREATLY improves TV Image.

Thx Blight but I've tried around 5 different versions of TVTool and TVCC, even the latest v6 betas. They have never stripped the protection:confused:
