View Full Version : find maximum gain fails all the time

I just started using Gknot (was using Nandub before) and it works great. Video quality (divx 3.11) is really good.
But I get an error all the time with the audio. The normalizing with azid doesn't work and I get bad clipping (up to 20db). It seems that Gknot uses max gain 29.9db _all the time_. Even on different movies!
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known problem? I coulnd't find anything an this in the forum.
(Yes, I've read the other threads about non-working-find-gain, and doing it manually instead. But I seem to get the same 29,9db _all_ the time. That's the strange thing)
Would really appreciate your help....

Btw, I use Gknot 0.23 with Lame 3.91 and azid 1.8.

azid 1.8 does NOT work with GKnot
you must use azid 1.7.1

Hey! It works just fine with 1.7.1.
Thank you so much! That's the first time someone actually answers the question I asked instead telling me how stupid I am... :)
