I'm contemplating the purchase of a wireless system to xmit the A/V from my computer to my TV. Has anyone tried this? How is the quality? I don't expect it to be as good as a direct connect, but it isn't an HDTV after all. What hardware have you tried?
Thanks:)

I've used a video sender in the past and found the quality good - the same as direct connection. Check this link for details: http://www.aeisecurity.com/digisender.html

Hey, I have a system set up here that works great for me. It is the Ultimate Wireless. www.grandtec.com (I think). It simply hooks up to your video out, of your standard video card and transmits the Audio/Video upto 90 meters indoors (300 meters outdoors?) on 2.4 GHz frequency.
The only thing I need now, is a remote mouse or something so I can control my PC from my bedroom!!
The unit was around $170 last december(2001). It may be cheaper now....

Sorry, messed up those numbers, its only 30 meters indoors and 100 meters outdoors.

If you're in Europe, the cheapest model I ever found, and very good (been using for 1 year) is from Trust (www.trust.com).
If you're watching divx on Tv...then I must tell you of another product... a Vga to Rgb converter (Trust Televiewer)...this little device changed my life.
The image quality on TV...has greatly overcome Ati's tvout.
Take Care
