View Full Version : Help needed with syncing two streams

I have m2v file from one source (DVD rip) and wav file from another source (VHS sound capture)

They are few seconds out.
Is there a tool that allows mpeg2 playback of locked video & audio as two separate streams & then allows adjustments to be made?

How one would tackle doing that (apart from VERY time consuming trial & error editing of the wav file etc)

Thanks

grab lycos mpeg-2 pack, which includes the premiere plugin

import the m2v and wav into premiere, get it in the right position and export the wav.

But this will force me (even if it works in first place) to encode again to DVD. Sth I do not want to do, as the m2v file is already at DVD spec.
I only need to sync it properly & then multiplex

export the .wav file only from premiere.

So if I understand correctly I do the operations to wav only (cut it, move it etc, so it is identical lengh as video & in sync with video)

Then I can multiplex it elswere.
