Ok, here's my problem:
To edit, mux, cut .ogm files, i need OggDS 0.9.8.9 or higher (i hoped 0.9.9.0 would solve my issue), but there's no way to open those files after having muxed them. I need to reinstall OggDS 0.9.8.6. What happens with 0.9.8.9 (or higher) is that my player starts to open my vid, then stay at 00.00.00 for an undetermined time (already waited for more than 5 min, then gave up...).
I don't know what's the heck, maybe i'm the only one who's got that bug, but this is quite disappointing. I try to convince people around me to use .ogm, but this won't help me to make them change their mind.

I also noticed it... and then noticed it was released on 1 April. Wondered whether it was an April fool :-)
Thanx for the update Tobias.

it's not so silent now ;) but the update is mostly useful for people using a crappy OS (yeah, I know I hate W98/ME almost more than the MPAA.. I just can't help it). The next version should be more interesting for a larger audience

@Doom9: You're probably not that kind of computer user, that likes to use his machine for playing games, right? ;)
...This is my excuse for 98/ME :D

Doom9 won't play until Doom3 is released :)
Btw Tobias, my bugs are still here with PowerDivX 4 and using the old video renderer and OGM :( (a new activemovie window is created)

@NoLogo
I noticed the same problem on my .ogm with two audio .ogg tracks, WMP 6.4 - WinXP.
Unchecking the checkbox "Always enable all streams" or something (can't check now) solved. That setting was introduced in release 0.9.8.7, i believe that's why 0.9.8.6 works fine.

Thx a lot, i just unchecked the "always enable all streams", and you're right, this solve my issue. Nevertheless, everything turns fine when i use the "enable all stream button". So there seem to be a problem with that "always enable all streams" option.
PS: WMP6.4 + WinXP
PPS: my .ogm had to .ogg tracks too, maybe this caused the issue :confused:

@tpe: well.. I don't really have time for games.. but I play Quake3, UT, Command and Conquer, Renegade and Serious Sam on XP. Drivers are up to the level by now so there's no performance loss but a huge gain in stability. There are no words to express how much I hate a crashing PC and since W98 crashed on my on a daily basis (no surprise if you know that when my pc is on it's usually going at a 100%+) and ME not being any better multiply no words by infinity and you know what I think about using a Windows that's not W2K or XP (okay... NT is a good business OS but I need multimedia functionality as well).

@NoLogo & Tobias, too ;)
*** Caution - Msg posted under heavy Wild Turkey effect ***
When "always enable all streams" is checked, under Properties-Advanced i see: Default DirectSound Device, Default DirectSound Device 0002, Ogg Splitter, Video Render, Vorbis Decoder, Vorbis Decoder 0001, XviD MPEG-4 Video Decoder.
This is a XviD+2ogg tracks, playing it with WMP6.4 doesn't start, unless you change language.
Unchecking "enable blabla..." and reopening works.
Hope this helps to kill the (?)bug.
