i encoded star wars using cce.
the result was a nice 2 go mpv (1st pass).
the m2v file plays smoothly in powerdvd.
but then i remuxed it using ifoedit, the movie is all jerky,
and cpu is up to 100%. :(

i dont think ifoedit is faulty, for i haved already remuxed movies before using the rempeg method without any pbs.

in cce, i had some doubts whether chossing progressive frames or not.
bitrate viewer tells :
Pic. structure: Frame
DCT type: Field.

if anyone has a clue, it would greatly be appreciated !

thx,
erwan

still, cce works nice and fast (way faster than rempeg).

Hi erwan,

there are some glitches with IfoEdit and CCE - Derrow is still working on it. But there is a solution to use CCE encoded streams with it - look at here:

http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-cce.htm

And visit the IfoEdit Forum and see all the threads about IfoEdit and CCE.

Greetings,
Gerti
