is there a new macrovision in town??

I have noticed that ReMPEG2 is not working with a few new titles...

no matter what scale factor you use, there is **extreme** pixelations, and ghosts. But if you fast forward the m2v file, it looks wonderful.

I also know that ReMPWG is doing it's job because every time that I run into this issue (like with "Traffic"), the studio logoas, and other various intros are ReMPEGed perfectly, the pixels only appear when the main movie starts.....

a new macrovision of come sort?

so far, Traffic and Training Day are doing it, and the symptoms between users are identical....

macrovision is an analogue technology.. in the vobs all you have is a flag set telling the circuits in your player to put the macrovision signal in the analogue output signal.

hmmmm, that is something I didn't know...


any idea what is going on? I am doing everything right, and I tried several films, including a 4 hour one that needed a 50% reduction, and all was well, except Traffic, which nothing will work...

the weird thing is that the fast forward is crystal clear....

and these issues are popping up with other people...
