gday, ive been having problems with my vcds in that the picutre was continually being overrun by macro blocks, but after a lot of experimenting (and a lot of wasted cd-rs) i discovered that if i raised the amount of ram used in nero's data buffer from 33mbs to 80mbs, this almost completely fixed the problem, but now i have another one.

during the movie, say every 10 minutes or so, the video will speed up for a second or two and so the audio goes out of sync. it genrally sorts itself out after a minute or two, but can be a touch annoying when someone who hasnt even appeared on screen yet has already finished a speech. can anyone help?

im using DVDDecrypter, DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc, and Nero.

thanks in advance!

De-multiplex and then multiplex the separate audio and video into one again using tmpgenc's mpeg tools. That should work. I had the same problem before.

Yeah, that should solve the problem you've been having. I had the same problems on my apex player and fixed it that way. What you said about Nero may be helpful for me...:)
