I am looking to transcode from a DVD to a DVD-R. I am using standard american dvds.... So for use on NTSC, region 1, 720x480 resolution 16:9. I know what my average bitrate needs to be and max/mins. So i should use 2pass? My problem is, what all settings do i need and where? I saw that doom9 has a guide, but i thought american ntsc was interlaced and 29.97 frames/sec? Im noticing that his guide calls for 23frames sec and progressive? I just dont understand what settings i need to use, if anyone uses this program, please help! thnx.
