I'm missing a IFO from a dvd rip, all I have is the Vob files..
I want to encode using DVD2Svcd but that won't take VOB files...
Is there a prog for creating a ifo?
I don't want to use a frameserve,like dvd2avi, to encode...Because any other program i use to encode gives no sound, just a buzz.
I have tried using updated programs, no avail.
So is there a proggy for creating an ifo?????????

No, there isn't. Sorry. Maybe if you told us the movie title you might be lucky enough.... but that's a far fetch.

I read somewhere that IFOEDIT has an IFO creation process. I just tried it but it crashed on me - I'm using a little laptop at work. You might have some luck.

Note: It does apear to update your VOBs so be careful.

@tywelcome
Also you only need to make 1 thread per subject, that way it keeps the forum from getting cluttered with useless posts.

Just rip a chapter from another dvd that has the same aspect ratio. Copy that .ifo over to the dir of your vobs. That may not matter though just select the correct apect ratio manually. Time is irrelevant since DVD2AVI determines the time from the vobs. I've done this once before and it worked just fine. Chapters will be way off so I would disable those though.
