I am trying to encode a movie that is in 16:9 (widescreen) format. The problem is, when I encode the file it comes out at 4:3 (fullscreen).

I wouldn't really mind but it stretches the image. If anyone knows of a way to keep the aspect ratio, I'd appreciate the help.

Under the MPEG settings, on the Advanced tab. Video Arrange Method has a number of options you can play with, but most likely you want "VGA 1:1".
