i was testing out the limit of my dvd player and decided to encode a svcd at max 2600 and audio at 224. the picture kept stutterin and i knew that the bitrate was too high for it to handle. by the way, i have a pioneer dv 444 and i wanted to know if anyone else had similar results when trying specs higher than an average svcd. anyways, now i want to change the audio from 224 to 128 w/o having to go through all the steps again. is there a shortcut that will allow me to do this or do i have to wait for evevrything to be done again? thanks for your time.

If you only want to change the audiostream, I suggest the following:

a) Print your logfile to have it handy - it's more convenient this way
b) open a command-shell (command.exe or cmd.exe)
c) goto the dvd2svcd-directory (cd \program files\dvd2svcd\ or similar)
d) retype the besweet-command which was written to the logfile, but change the parameter for the bitrate
e) afterwards, start dvd2svcd, do a crashrecovery and start after the video conversion, the next part is muxing and cutting.

If you do it this way, there is still some manual work, but you save the biggest part: the video-encoding.
