Are there any references online for Scenarist scripting? I can't seem to find any mention of creating .scp files in the Scenarist manual.

Are you looking for a definition of the scripting language used in Senarist or use of the Command list?
Sonic AuthorScript is the scripting language and it costs ...
The Command list is a part of the manual.

By command list you're referring to the navigation commands and GPRM/SPRM set/evaluate commands? No I don't need to find more information about those.
I'm wondering how powerful the Import .scp file feature is in Scenarist. I have a LOT of complicated menus that I'd like to write a script to automate setting up the navigation commands for. I have a script reading some data and it will generate the .bmp files for the menus, but I was hoping to also develop some automated way of generating the menu links as well.
ReelDVD exports a .scp file that can be read into Scenarist. I guess I'm looking for a reference on how to create a .scp file.

Sorry , it's something I don't know much abouth. You are looking for something like XML for VCD creation.
You can open the .scp file in a texteditor and see how it looks like.
