I plan to get a new system with dual CPU
probably two athlon xp 1.47ghz soon. I know that if you want to take advantage of both cpu's, like photoshop and stuff. My question is that encoding with divx5 or any divx coden at that matter, would utilize both cpu's right? I always wanted to know how long each pass would take with 3ghz of power =)
oh yea one thing, I use mp3 for the audio (gordian knot and vdub like everyone else uses) and when I play the movie in the "The playa " bunled with the codec, the sound is like 2 seconds off.
