movie offset? whats the default?!

Movie offset seconds leave at default 2. . Don't adjust unless experiencing synch problems

this is what the newbie faq shows but i installed dvd2svcd 1.07 build 1 and upgraded to build 4 and mine as default was 5.

is it supposed to be 5 or should i change it back to 2

IT WAS A CLEAN INSTALL. uninstalled and deleted everything!

you sure about that? I could be wrong but I believe I've never touched mine and is show a setting of 2 using 1.0.7 build 4. When you upgrade it'll keep the settings that you have specified in previous builds and it stores those settings in dvd2svcd.ini. Perhaps that's my problem. I'll be sure to reflect the default change and double check the defaults when 1.0.8 is released. Thanks for the tip.

btw the audio and video were slight desynced... im trying one tonight with it at setting of 2 and see if that fixes it...

it was less than 1/2 second and hard to tell but if u watched it really close i could tell

I have never touched mine and it was always set at 2. I just double checked the 1.07.4 version I have and it's 2 as well.

I have never changed my movie offset either and with the
lastest build it's still set at "2".

Edit:
I just did a clean install of dvd2svcd 1.0.7 build 1 then I upgraded to build 4 and still with the clean machine and install has left the setting at "2".
