Hi all,
OggMux 0.7.3 is ready.
28.03.2002 14:15h MET
- Version 0.7.3
- Added .aac to the audio selection. You need to have a Directshow Filter though.
- Added tooltips and a hint-box so it's easy now to see how to use OggMux.
- Added a message when soundtrack list is empty.
- More fixes and cleanups I forgot about again.
So hopefully noone will forget to use the add buttons first and everyone understands how the lists work.
I hope that OggMux is somewhat more foolproof now.
Feedback is welcome.
Best regards,
Koepi
P.S.: Blacksun, please close and/or delete the former OggMux <version number> threads as they aren't interesting with this new version anymore. Thanks!

Sorry, nope. But thank you for the link to a working one, now I can test if it works at all in OGM ;)
Now with that we'd have full MPEG4 in OGM :)
Regards,
Koepi
P.S.: if someone writes an mpeg4 DS splitter/multiplexer, I could add support for that ;) So we would have the full choice of stream/file formats...

Ivan_Dimkovic from Hydrogenaudio will be happy finally that AAC could be used with DivX/XviD ... but of course his main aim is to put them into MPEG4 container also ( instead of OGG ) to make a fully compatible MPEG4 stream of it one day .... there is still the expectation to get hardware support for this one day !!
BTW : i just wanted to make a new thread here in the forums to tell you koepi has some 'competitor' ! CyberDemonII had been launching a tool similar to koepis OggMux hier (http://www.everwicked.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=626) ..... but now as koepi's tool supports AAC also i dont think its a real alternative .... :D !

Use which program suites your needs.
since cybedemons proggi can just mux divx4 vidoe with audio it's a little too specialised for my taste (in all respect, when I'm coding a little with xvid i want to use it :) ).
OggMux should be able to multiplex every videostream renderable by MediaPlayer (ok, maybe no wmv's, but if you split them beforehand...), and that's the way to go.
I still don't find the motivation to implement that timeline (=> delay for streams) stuff since i have to rewrite the whole graphbuilder. And - OggMux nearly does everything I wanted it to do (even more now ;) ), so development should slow down now. It's working, it's more or less self explanatory now...

You're right there.
I have the tool I need.
If someone claims to do it better, so shall he. I won't waste my time in senseless competitions, no need for that.
