View Full Version : bbMPEG locking on AVI2SVCD

I'm trying to convert an AVI to an SVCD after having finally having had success with 1 attempt. The conversion has gone just fine until it has reached the Muxing and Cutting stage. Specifically, bbMPEG is choking and just locking 63% through multiplexing the bbmpeg_muxed_file00.mpg file.

I'd appreciate any pointers to things I could do to try to fix this (diferent version of bbMPEG maybe?). I'm going to try to do the muxing, cutting, and cd image generation myself using TMPEGEncs MPEG tools and VCDEasy, but I'd like to know alternate solutions for the future as this is a very consistent error (used DVD2SVCDs crash recovery and it bombed in the same place 3 times... same exact AV unit and all) and I expect it to be repeated in the future with other attempts ;)

Thanks in advance,

Scratch that, I can't even mux the thing and cut it manually.. I did the mux in TMPEG then switched over to the Merge and Cut tab. Selected the MPEG I had outputted in the previous step and got a "Cannot determine length of video" error. Couldn't cut it that way. Tried to use VirtualDub and it gave me a Packet synchronization error. Hrmm... Any help?
