Thanks

EDIT: Does everything look normal in my setup? I changed from multipass to CBR and disabled temporal smoother, and I have not noticed a difference in quality at all, its still great! Actually, by disabling the temporal smoother, I elimanted a small error I would get when playing the discs in my standalone APEX DVD player. With the smoother on, it would make a high pitched screech every now and then and the SVCD would hang up. The only way to get to play would be to skip to the next chapter(section).

Please read the Q + A in full.

Q29: I used special characters like ( ) [ ] % 1 2 3 001 4 5 6 7 8 9 in my output folder name
A: Don't use these. These characters can be source of problems at least for bbmpeg. Due to sheer number of programs utilized in DVD2SVCD bundle it's better to just stick to your ABC's lest you like to gamble with your time.

Thanks, markb. You know the funny thing is I read the Q&A before posting, so I wouldn't get a "go read the Q&A" response from people. I guess I just missed that question.

This is why I now cut and paste the answer if it's in there as well. I used to just say go read it, but DDogg showed me the light and I now do it this way. Just in case it was a miss. It happens to all of us.

from your log:
Program Handle not found, terminating program.
apparently something went amiss in video encoding. perhaps there really is no file to be found!

btw:
when doing a cbr encode, you can disable vaf-file creation. this won't help your problem in this instance, but save you some time.

Missed that when I read it the first time. Once I saw the numbers in the path and I know that this can cause this error and did not read further.

Thanks for catching that da franksta.
