I am having a problem with the import assests. I am trying to put to different movies onto one disc using Spruce Up as suggested by another member. The problem is the software is telling me that i imported 2 of the same.

I have movie 1 in a separate folder from movie 2. I click on the button that i want and import the assest. For some reason its comes up as the other movie even though i have not imported the other movie yet. I thought i was crazy so i reripped it and still the same thing. Is there something in the software that keeps the other movie in memory, cause i did load that one first on my first go around. I closed it then chose new before retrying, this is why i am stumped.

Its hard to explain this but its freaking me out!!!

Make sure that the two movie files have different names otherwise SpruceUp gets a bit confused....

Thanks for the reply, i made sure the names are different. I even went as far as to change the extension on one of them.

My steps are 1)drag over the background 2)drag over the 2 buttons, and step 3) is where the problem is, i right click and import asset..movie one is now imported..everything ok at this point...now i right click again for movie 2 and after it does its thing it shows 2 of the same movie. Thats what i cant figure out...why do i keep getting 2 of the same. They have different names and extensions...

Any other ideas would be great???

Maybe i should uninstall and reinstall the software:devil:

Yeah, I would try that....

I have been doing a whole bunch of PAL to NTSC conversion of British comedy classics so I would have 6-8 'movies' imported into the final layout - one for each episode. SpruceUp never had any problems with them, so long as they all had different names and all came from different folders.

Sounds like you are a victim of that old voodoo-black-magic thing that happens to us all at some point.....!
