Hi,
i have problems with encoding avi2svcd. Many AVIs is not 4:3 nor 16:9... i'd like to have 1:1 and avi2svcd procedure adding required borders before resize.

e.g.
when i encode movie 640x272 there is no correct settings now, and i have to build/edit avs file. Editing avs is unconfortable becouse i've to wait for audioprocessing.

what do you think ?

yeah i also think it should be great with 1:1 VGA aspect ratio!
my dvd player resize it to what i want then.
it would be good for avi encoding :)

Great idea. I like to code in anamorphic and leave 720x576 but I need to wait for the first process before editing.

i just find some 'hack'. you can start avi2dvd and check 'Edit when dvd2avi processing done'. Then after start you can put in output directory file named 'Preview_AviSynth_Script_file.avs' with correct resize. It will be used to encode video then.

Maras, do you mean edit the preview file once and then not checking the edit function will still force DVD2SVCD to use the preview file for future processes?

not exactly... i'm talking about encoding avi files only.
when you check 'Edit when dvd2avi processing done'it does not stops for editing, but uses copied preview file anyway.
You have to copy it after start, becouse it delete it firstly :-)
