Hi!

I will have to underline everything that doom9 stated in his announcements concerning forum rules.

I was a relatively active member back on EZBoard, when NanDub wasn't even in the making and "good" divX movies were very hard to find.

There are three things which made me stop using the boards ever so often:
1. Newbies not having enough patience reading the guides

2. If I had a problem as an experienced user, mostly nobody could help me

3. The lack of new developments which affect my encoding process (I still use NanDub, the only things changed where the addidtions of GKnot, and maybe in near future the use of Ogg-Vorbis for audio, but not until ZoomPlayer supports Ogg-Stream-Switching without manually selecting filter properties, since I use a remote control...)

And I thought that the wide diversification of the forums (for every new "major" topic there is a new forum) was not a very good development since I had to read through too many forums...
And Doom9 isn't the only forum I check(ed) on a daily basis...

But still I visit the mainpage, and keep up the good work, doom9...

thanks for your support.

though I have to disagree about the comment on the diversification.. it allows me to only read about topics I really care about. Just imagine we would combine all mpeg4 codecs into one forum.. it would be chaos. We had it like that before and it turned into chaos as the forum grew..
