since they've deleted many old threads it just happened to delete
the thread in Q11
ask kaizen if he can't restore it possibly from backup

just a suggestion: but that flash link that Ru$$Rip posted is freakin awesome and maybe can also be linked in Q11. I thought that is the easiest to understand for newbies.

Yep we lost a few threads when the system was culled. I also asked about the DVD2SVCD FAQ (formerly Newbie FAQ) which was hit in the culling as well. I don't know if they can get them back.
