Hello

I am generating video (.mpv file) through CCE 2.5 and audio (.AC3 file) through DVD2AVI. What is the best way to remux these two back together? I've tried it through my DVD authoring software (DVD Maker) and the video and audio ALWAYS get out of sync. Is there third party utility that will remux these two files reliably? Maestro? Thanks for your help.

later

P.S. Any help on locating Maestro would be great :)

I have not tried TMPgenc yet. Has this been reliable for all MPEG2 video and (AC3 or MPA) streams?

I use bbMPEG (see software page on this site). Haven't used it for AC3, only *.mp2 audio files but sync is always perfect. It also lets you cut a large file into smaller ones, e.g. set cut at 700Mb. Handy for burning.

I found that TMPGEnc always messed up the MPEG muxing (when analysed with VCDEasy). BBMpeg always muxed perfectly.
