Try OggMux-0.5.
Download and install the subtitle filters from Tobias.
Does the problem persist?

a. Did you activate the subtitles? I have to do that and so far the only player i could do that in was WiMP 6.4 (somewhere in the context menu of the video part)
b. If that doesn't work, check with Graphedit if the automatically built graph includes the subtitle filter, if not, reinstall.
c. If it still doesn't work, then i don't know whats wrong :(
EDIT: Overread somthing = cut out dumb answer ^^'

I cannot give you a solution but I've noticed the same problem from some time ago. Before it worked perfectly but now it simply doesn´t work, nor graphedit method.
Rendering the muxed file in Graphedit gives no subtitles in the render graph so I don't know if they're really in the file or not.
It all started when I updated one of the Tobias' filters (don't remember if they were OggDS or Subititle).
(To give a bit more of info I'm using WinXP) (And I know I have to use WMP6.4 to select the language, as I said it worked fine some time ago).

You cannot mux subtitles into an avi which contains VBR MP3 if it has been made with Nandub. The way Nandub muxes VBR audio into an avi renderes the output file useless for further processing.
The only thing you can do is keep the subtitles as a sepereate file and have them displayed during playback with DirectVobSub.
And Tobias' subtitle filters have been known to interfere with DirectVobSub, so it might be wise to have only one of those two installed, not both.

well, I noticed the problem but using ogg files as audio source. I have directvobsub installed so I'll try to uninstall it and see what happens.
