TMPGEnc crash converting AVI

Hello, just wondering if I could get some help here. TMPGEnc 2.53.130 and other versions keep crashing on Win2k I think it's a directshow problem, how can I re-install directshow? when I disable directshow I get a illegal floting point error converting the movie then trying to just re-enable dirctshow crashes TMPGEnc ????

have u tried deleting the whole tmpg directory and then re extracting it.

i think u are ahving the same problems i was with the bicubic crashing in dvd2svcd. and when it happened sometimes it would not encode again till i deleted everything and then extracted it again.
