Codec Woes

Cannot seem to get CCE working at all, here,s the deal
rip to H\Drive
use dvd2vi to get the .d2v file

convert it with VFAPI Converter

open the file in CCE 2.62 and it tells me no codec????

I read in the FAQ about CCE v2.62 having trouble with .d2v files,

so I also tried load the .d2v into TMPG enc load SVCD settings,
save the settings as .mcf file

then load the new .mcf file into CCE and it tells me just the same no codec.

I seem to have Lost the Plot with CCE, and after many hours of head scratching, still not getting anywhere fast.

Why are you using 2.62? Any specific reason? 2.62 or above cannot open an avisynth avs file. That makes it more than useless for most folks. Unless there is a specific reason for using 2.62 maybe you should stick with 2.50 and avisynth and I think you will be more pleased. Use the Tsunami patcher to take care of the crc bug.
