Pb with motion menues in Maestro

Hi Everybody !


after a first play
I try to make a motion menu with 4 button

I made a motion menue with AE5, I import it like a classical movie,
a subpicture with photoshop, my buttons and links, etc...

but i don't know how to link my motion menu in the target connection menue...

do I link the movie, the menue or anything else ?

when i try to connect the movie with the title play > the button don't appair in the menu
when i try to connect the menue (no button or with) with the title play > the movie is paused and i can navig and make choice...

cana-10 I'm not shure if I understand what your problem is but here is how I would make a motion menu.

There isn't any other different between motion and still menu then the background. The first element you drag over into the menu window is the background. The next is the subpicture.

Just open a menu . Drag the movie over to the menu window. The next element is the subpicture you have to drag over. Draw the buttons and and make links to other elements in the project. All these actions you know from making still-menu is the same with motion-menu.

You can define some options to the moving background like loop settings. If the menu has a moving background than the playback control has 3 picture-frames and a slider. Itis to adjust the loop start frame etc.

End state... is to determine what it gonna do after playing the video. Still is hold on the last frame, loop is loop and timeout can use a value to go other part of the project.


Under connections you define the settings as it was a still menu.

That's exactly what I do, but in the connection window, when i connect title Menue with Menu1 (No button) there 's no animation of my background during the preview in the navigator windows...and the motionmenue is paused, and the choice is on the first button ...

I just have one menu and when i do a right click on the title menu window i 've 5 choice :
> Menu1 (no button)
> Menu1 button 1
> Menu1 button 2
> Menu1 button 3
> Menu1 button 4

i don't understand how (and what) connect with in the connection window in title menue...

I hope it's easier to understand with this explanations...

Ok, it's normal.
You have to "render" the motion menu, you can't see a motion menu in the preview but you can in the monitor window (in the menu creation window).

Your menu gonna be just fine after you burned the disc.
