There is 7.5 out (but unofficial) it is a rip of the CD you get with the Radeon 8500, and thus is not on ATI's site. I can put 7.5 up on my FTP if you need it as most sites have been asked to take it down. Just PM me.

7.6 is 7.5 for everyone else (pratically) but it hasn't been released, but ATI says it will be soon. All I can say is regulary check the ATI homepage...

7.6 does have new audio and video filters. I use them but do not seem any visible improvement. The 7.5 filters are already excellent.

the 7.5 is what was shipped with the AIW8500DV, 7.6 is whats on the newer aiw 7500 and 8500 cds.

7.6 DOES include newer audio and video codecs, and now plays back svcd files (or any mpeg-2 files with 44.1khz audio) at the right speed, not sped up.

I have heard the version on the ati site does not have dvd player or the filters.

ati has released 7.6 without the dvd component, which means no cinemaster codecs.

if you dig around on hxxp://rage3d.com forums, you might find a link to 7.6 full installer.

or if you have a proper ati cd, wait till next week or so for the new dvd component to come out.

You can download dvd player separately from atis driver page.

the dvd player for separate download on ati's page is still the old one (5.0), not the one that comes with MMC7.6. ill check the version of my dvd when i get home.
