I'll try to keep it short (just deleted about half a page of shittalk from that post :-)
1. add a "priority" key to besweet CLI. Just for people who dont use GUI :-) setting priority manually every time is evil.
2. add a noise gate. there are some movies with long periods of silence, but lame doesnt drop bitrate on them because of some noise which is present.
some other movie tracks eat too much bitrate because of that too.
i would like to use a noise gate of, ie -60 or -70 db for old movies :/

noise gate, meaning BeSweet will hush any signal lower than noise gate (threshold) ?

yes, thats it.
i heard that there are more advanced NR algos than highpass, but all of them are licensed.

Would it be possible to support VST plugins, well one specifically. The stereoizer dll from http://209.211.248.205/software/vstplugs/p14.cfm I am nornally very dubious about such things but I find this plug-in to be very good at adding a little soundfield to a mono source without destroying the audio. Could be a nice button for the gui "Convert to Stereo."

Could it be possible to have multiple WAV files into one 5.1 vorbis file? or into one AC3 file? (the first option is preferred).

Take it a step further Dg...a very big step further. What if each WAV could have a different bitrate(-q)? Not sure if I'm getting my point across.

if only tobias had more of a free time...
