Just wanted to know what the average time was for creating a svcd film
My specs
Athlon1.2 200fsb
384 Crucial 133 Cas 2
60Gb ATA100 Seagate Hard disk
Gigabyte 7zx 1.01 motherboard with latest VIA4in1 drivers
Using Smartripper, then DVDAVI and finally TMPEG, it takes the foloowing
Smartripper = Max 20mins to rip to disk
DVDAVI = Not more than 15 mins
TMPEG = on average 8 - 10 hours depending on length of film e,g 8 hours for Scary Movie 2 and 10 hours for Planet of the Apes
Would this seem to be about right
Quality settings are bitrate 2550/128 (CBR)
or i use 1950 sometimes but always sound at 128kb
