See if any advanced users can provide insight here:
DVD in question: Rat Race Special Edition R1
Special Feature in question: Calls to the Actors
When viewing this feature, a screen with some actors' pictures and names shows up and you can click on them to hear their phone call. The video doesn't change except for the actor's picture is highlighted while their audio is played. As such, there is no stream to choose in DVD2SVCD, so I'm left with the 3h24m51s ac3 that I was able to extract from VTS_02_0.vob My plan is to stick these phone calls at the end of an "extras" CD and create SVCD chapters for each phone call.
I have captured the picture with the actors names and want to somehow have the image displayed for the entire length of the audio. I'm thinking it will have a video of very low bitrate and audio probably 96 since it's just phone conversations anyhow. So I guess the question is this: How can I create an SVCD video stream from an image that will last for X amount of time? and also, what bitrate would you recommend for a single non-moving image?
I believe this is what DVD2SVCD does for the title and change CD pictures, each lasting 2 seconds. I could then take the image I've captured and create images with each actor highlighted to be displayed during that actor's "chapter"
Any ideas, suggestions would be greatly apppreciated.
