Hi All. Sorry to ask this question if it is an easy one, I checked Ulead's website as well as the F.A.Q. in this forum and could find no answer even after doing a search. I created an MPEG2 video using a trial version of Ulead Movie Factory. I chose a custom setting as I could see no way of setting the bitrate with any of the default DVD methods that come with MovieFactory. I attempted to burn this using Sonic MyDVD3 that came with my HP DVD100i - I am getting the message "Cannot use this file - It has missing sequence headers before each GOP. Please consult the manual of your MPEG encoder for further information on creating DVD-legal MPEG files". The settings I used were custom, for data track I chose Video only, Frame Rate 29.97, Frame Size Standard 720x480, Compression settings are Media Type MPEG-2, Video Data Rate Variable set at 7000. Since their is no setting for GOP headers (as in TMPGEnc) I thought by making the video MPEG-2 compliant this setting would be activated? The video this created is beautiful, the size is well below the 4.37 limit even with audio - is there a way to add GOP header information to this .mpg without reencoding this whole thing? Why didn't the MovieFactory program add this information for me? If I have to I can use TMPGEnc, it is just so slowww... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

It turns out in Ulead Movie Factory you cannot choose MPEG-2 setting to create a DVD, you must choose one of the preset DVD modes. I chose NTSC DVD, recreated the file and was able to import the file with no errors and successfully write out the DVD.
