Hi All !

Sorry for my english but i hope you all can understand what I mean :))

My questions :

1. Can I close GKnot after save Avisynth file ? (I do ever DIVX + AC3)

2. Where I can "say" Virtual Dub to shutdown Windows (XP) after encoding ?

3. Can I encode the Credits with low Rate (like in the Divx 4.12 Guide) with GKnot + Divx5 ?

1) Yes, GKnot is only used for cropping/resizing and creating the .avs file. After that VirtualDub handles the encoding and GKnot is no longer needed.

2) You can't. VDub doesn't have that functionality. You will need to use an external program that can shutdown windows.

3) No, the only way you could do that for DivX4 is because GKnot handled all that. GKnot isn't updated yet to use DivX5 in the same way as it used DivX4, that's why you still have to use VDub manually to encode.
