I installed the latest DS filters and tried to convert a 29.97 avi with 160-Mp3 to ogm. I had to find out though that it doesn't work! You can seek, but the movie won't play. It's like you're pressed PAUSE all the time!

Latest filters are working fine for me. What is your full setup besides the filters.

CPU type?
BIOS type?
OS type?
Video card type?
Sound card type?
Players used?
Codecs used?
Software used?
Any error dialogues pop-up?

Anyone else having similar problems?

Try using an integer frame rate. Set it to 30Fps instead of 29.97 and see if anything changes. There had been a problem with non integer frame rates in the second public release of the filters. But it did not cause pausing.

OK, thanks for the suggestion. But if there is an error with non-integer fps why does 23.976 work?

That was an instance of an old error. I was simply mentioning it as something to look at. Tobias took care of that long before most of you ever knew about the filters. ;) But things could always creep back in. I have not been able to reproduce the results myself. And it would appear that others have not as well. Could you possibly provide a clip?

Please cut a few second with the OggCut utility and send it to me by mail for further analysis. (Not more than 2MB please)

Best regards,
Tobis

PS: It is definitly not related to the frame rate
