People
This is the miniDVD process I thought of. Can you please lemme kno if this may work ?
1. Seperate out AC3 using DVD2AVI
2. Frameserve vobs to TMPG/CCE and encode with an average of 1600 kbps. Resolutions either 352x480 or 720x480. All other parameters the same way as SVCD. ( Q - Do I need to setup somthing to make it a DVD compliant video besides resolution given that I am making it similar to SVCD )
3. Load the .m2v file into spruceup. Spruceup will automatically load ac3 ( name of ac3 and m2v same )
4. export title. This will create a huge vob file or multiple vobs of 1 gig.
5. I can merge the vobs using vobmerge (?)
6. Then split the one huge vob into 790 mb vobs ( 80 min CD ) (?)
7. burn the vobs on to CDs in miniDVD format ( HOW ? which authoring program would accept vob and let me only author a dvd format on CD. Or do i need to demux the vobs again ( using DVD2AVI ? ) and use spruceup to create each CD image ? )
Thanks for you inputs
The purpose of this exercise is to preserve AC3 audio.
