I've been trying to rip THE USUAL SUSPECTS for the last week and everytime the audio has been at least 5 seconds out of sync.
I've tried ripping the VOB's with VSTRIP, SMARTRIPPER, and DVD2SVCD Internal Routines with no luck. The ripped VOB's play normally when viewed in WINDVD.

I deleted the DVD2SVCD log or I would have posted it. I'll do my best to describe the situation.

The DVD is NTSC 2 sided, one side for Widescreen and the other for fullscreen. The strange thing is that when I load the IFO it defaults to the 4:3 aspect ratio. The only other difference I've noticed from other DVD's is that the audio is 2 channel AC3.

Using DVD2SVCD 107 B4

all settings are the default unless specified below:
audio bitrate 128kbps w/no downsample
movie offset seconds = 0
cd overlap = 5 seconds
cd image = vcdimager PBC selections

Suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

First movie offset should be 2 seconds.
It even says it can solve desync on some DVD players.

Second start internal routines and select chapters. See if the first chapter has a 0 length. If it does uncheck it and continue like normal.

You probably meant to post this in the DVD2SVCD basic forum.

Not sure what version you have but in my version the default is 2 and the recommended is 0 as it may solve desync.

Using internal routines, chapters appear to be normal.

If I meant to post this in that forum I would have, your mind reading skills are below average just as your moderator skills are. try to be a little more polite next time eh?
