Xvid Directshow Filter

I've just started using Xvid and I must say it beats anything I have used before. Even though reading the various forum's I can see big differences in opinion - hurray for free speech. Xvid has been a very good effort. Well done folks.
However, I still have one niggling problem - how do you bring up and use the Xvid Directshow Filter? I have searched the forums and help files, etc but to no avail.

If you use WMP 6.4 you can go to the File-menu/Options/Advanced tab and double click on the Xvid-filter.
Or if you use ex. ZoomPlayer you just right-click and chooses Filter properites.

Thanks for the advice. I've been using WMP 7.1 therefore unable to get these features. Is WMP7.1 worth the effort? I use winamp for my music so WMP7.1 doesn't seem to add much value.

it'd be best to switch players. bsplayer will show the options as well as allowing dual language avis. In general WMP 7.1 would be one of the worst players for divx. (not Ms bashing, its just too general for divx playback)
